Cæcilie Norby (DK) and Lars Danielsson (SE) – both life partners and two of Scandinavia’s most recognized jazz names – have been thrilling audiences for years. With a unique blend of virtuosity and presence, they create an intimate and deeply moving musical experience.

Cæcilie Nørby is one of Europe’s most acclaimed jazz vocalists. Her voice moves effortlessly from the gentlest whisper to powerful emotional outbursts, and her ability to tell stories through music captivates the listener. As a pioneer, she was the first Scandinavian artist to be signed to Blue Note Records by the legendary Bruce Lundvall. She is the recipient of, among other things. The Ben Webster Award and IFPI’s Honorary Grammy.

Swedish bassist Lars Danielsson, who has been honoured with the Echo Jazz Award several times, is known for his lyrical and innovative approach to both bass and cello. With his special melodic sense and a deep understanding of both space and groove, he has established himself as one of Europe’s most distinctive instrumentalists.

Together, they make up the Dream Team, which unites jazz, folk, blues and classical elements in a rich and evocative sound universe. Whether they interpret songs by Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen and Abbey Lincoln or play their own compositions, they deliver a concert experience that goes straight to the heart and stays with them long after the last note.
