ANDELEN on 31.7 at 19.30 Young talents: Emma Pilgaard and Mads Oldenskov Quartet

As something very special, four of the very young and award-winning talents on the Danish jazz scene have gathered a quartet for this year’s jazz festival. The quartet consists of ‘Funen Jazz Talent of the Year 2023’, Mads Oldenskov on guitar, Emma Pilgaard (vocals), who is ‘Årest Fynske Jazztalent 2022’ as well as Emil Madsen on double bass and Nikolaj Bangsgaard on drums. Emil and Nikolaj together won the Bucharest International Jazz Competition in 2022. The quartet will perform interpretations of their favorite songs from The American Songbook, but they will probably also play some originals if preferred. We look forward to hearing and seeing them up close, at Andelen.
